2. Warranty Administration Reduction Program (WARP)
The WARP program provides a flat-rate payment to full-line dealers as
compensation for warranty expenses they may incur. This program avoids
the dealer having to return each and every failed part, regardless of how
inexpensive they are, and only requires the dealer to return the more
expensive parts in order to get reimbursement for in-warranty failures. The
flat-rate credit is calculated by a percentage of your eligible machine
purchases, drums and accessories.
Dealers who purchase a Color imageRUNNER C3480/C3080/C2550
device will receive WARP credit during the month following their purchase.
The credit covers the dealer’s cost for defective parts and drums with a
dealer cost under $300.00 replaced during the term of the end-user
warranty.
Original defective parts with a dealer cost over $300.00 replaced during the
term of the end-user warranty are eligible to receive reimbursement credit
through the e-Tag process. Parts that are listed on the Canon USA
repairable parts list should be sent to an APRF to be repaired at no-charge.
To request a part reimbursement credit, complete the e-Tag warranty claim
form that can be found in the warranty section of the e-Support Center
website. A copy of the e-Tag claim form and the machine service history
should be returned with the original defective part(s) to the address
provided on the bottom of the claim form.
For defective drums, ship the drum to the address provided on the bottom
of the e-Tag claim form, accompanied by a copy of the e-Tag claim form,
machine service history log, a “before” sample copy depicting the problem
and an “after” sample copy showing the problem has been resolved.
Your Regional Service Office personnel can answer questions regarding
the WARP program.
