0D91/0205 Jam Code occurs on a machine with a version of system software earlier than Ver.24.03 due to a
wrong paper size setting for the multi-purpose tray
Symptom
When paper was fed from the multi-purpose tray, 0D91/0205 jam occurred due to a wrong setting of paper
size.
- 0D91: Registration Sensor Size Error Jam
- 0205: Registration Sensor Stationary Jam
Cause
For versions of system software earlier than Ver.24.03, the default paper size setting for the multi-purpose
tray was A4/LTR.
When the multi-purpose tray was used, the paper size setting was not changed from the default setting.
Therefore, A4/LTR-size paper was used, and consequently causing the jams. If the paper size to be fed was
smaller than A4/LTR, 0D91 jam occurred. If the paper size to be fed was larger than A4/LTR, 0205 occurred.
