Universal Send PDF Enhancement Kit

The Universal Send PDF Enhancement Kit improves the performance of PDF files 
created on the machine. It enables you to encrypt the PDF files and set a password to 
send them safely to a file server or e-mail address. It also enables you to create PDF 
(OCR) files from scanned documents using OCR (Optical Character Recognition).

NOTE

 

The features of the Universal Send PDF Enhancement Kit are available only if the 
optional Universal Send Kit and Universal Send PDF Enhancement Kit are activated by 
registering their license keys. For instructions on registering a license key, see "License 
Registration," on p. 7-54.

iR Security Kit

The iR Security Kit enables you to erase the contents of the machine's hard disk from a 
PC, as well as set the machine so that the general user cannot view the job logs.

NOTE

 

To use the features of the iR Security Kit, it must be activated by registering a license key, 
after the Expansion Bus and USB Application Interface Board are installed.

Web Access Software

The Web Access Software enables the user to view Web pages from the touch panel 
display of the machine.

NOTE

 

The optional Multi-PDL Printer Kit is necessary to print Web pages and PDF files.
