Adjusting the Alarm and Monitor Volume

You can set the volume for the alarm and monitor tones that this machine sounds
during a fax transmission.

NOTE

The alarm tone sounds when sending or receiving is canceled.

•

The monitor tone sounds when the machine connects to the recipient's fax machine.

•

The default setting for both the Alarm Volume and Monitor Volume is in the middle (4), on
a scale of 0 to 8.
