Tone Settings

You can set whether or not to sound audible tones. The settings for the following
tones are available:

•

Entry Tone:

sounds when a key is pressed on the control
panel.

•

Error Tone:

sounds when a malfunction occurs (e.g., a
paper jam or operational error).

•

Scan Done Tone:

sounds when scanning is complete.

•

Print Done Tone:

sounds when printing is complete.

NOTE

The default setting is ‘On’ for the Entry Tone and Error Tone, and ‘For Error Only’ for the
Scan Done Tone and Print Done Tone.
