Roll Unit

The roll unit functions as a feed device that can accommodate an additional roll for a total of two rolls on the
printer and as a take-up device that automatically takes up the printed roll paper. Switch between these two
functions depending on the circumstances.

You can use the following roll unit with this printer.

• PRO-6600 / PRO-566 : Roll Unit RU-63
• PRO-4600 / PRO-546 : Roll Unit RU-43
• PRO-2600 / PRO-526 : Roll Unit RU-23

Parts of the Roll Unit

A: Roll Holder Lock Switch

Locks and releases the Roll Holder loaded in the roll unit.

B: Feed Mode Lamp

Lights up when you have selected the feed mode on the roll unit.

C: Auto Take-up Lamp

Lights up when the paper is being taken up.

D: Pause Lamp

Lights up when the paper winding is paused.
