Create a File before Adding It (Sound File)
You can create sound files easily using the My Camera Sound Maker. The following
example shows how to create a start-up sound file. QuickTime is required to play the
recorded sound.
• If QuickTime 3.0 or a later version is not already installed, install
QuickTime 5.0 from the Canon Digital Camera Solution Disk. Place the
disk in the CD-ROM drive and click [QuickTime 5.0 Installation] in the
installer panel (p. 20).
1.
Click the [Create Sound] button in the My Camera window.
The My Camera Sound Maker dialog will display.
2.
Click the tab of the sound file you will be creating, followed by the
[Record] button.
• The Start-up Sound tab is selected in this example.
The My Camera Sound Maker dialog will display.
• To open a sound file already saved to the computer, click the [Open]
button in place of the [Record] button. Then skip to Step 6.
3.
