Page Range
Enter page number for modification.

Mixed Media setting will be effective for specified page range.
: User cannot specify same page with different setting. If same page number is
specified more than twice, “Page Defined Twice Or More” warning message window
will be appeared.
The user can insert a blank page after a page in the document by entering the page
number in the Page Range dialog box preceded by ^. Thus, a blank sheet inserted
after page 6 would read "6^". This inserted blank sheet by default is not counted as
part of the total number of pages printed in the job log; the page counting in the job
log is engine specific however. User can also insert multiple blank pages by
entering “^^6”. (two blank pages are inserted before page-6 in this case.)
UI Constraints
- Option menus which is constraint with main (Global) setting are not listed up in
Mixed Media window.(Ex. If Page Size is set to A3 in Global setting, Transparency is
not available in Media Type option menu in Mixed Media window.)
- Option menus which is constraint with Mixed Media (Local) setting are grayed out
(non-selectable).
(Ex. If Paper Source is set to SB(Stack Bypass), Top-Top/Top-Bottom options in
Duplex option are grayed out (non-selectable) in Mixed Media window.
Note: The options which is constraint with Global setting can be listed up, if
constraint can be resolved in Mixed Media window with other option settings.
Others
[Override Setting]
- To use Mixed Media on CWS4, select a job and choose “Mixed Media Setup…”
menu from Action
menu. (For Printed Jobs, above menu is not activated. But Mixed Media setting is
available in Paper
Source category of job property window.)
- Mixed Media can be work with PS / PDF / VPS / PPML jobs.
- Mixed Media is not supported for FreeForm master job in FreeForm window on
CWS.
[Imposed Job]
Mixed Media is not supported for Imposed Job.
[Counter Charge of Blank Page]
Blank Pages is not counted up.
[Duplex printing]
When duplex setting between Global and Local setting is different, the specified
page range in Mixed Media will be printed independent set of pages from other
pages.
[Free Form]
- Chapter setting for FreeForm Master is not supported.
- Insert Blank Page is not supported for FreeForm Master.
