Description
Since the LCD was laterally divided into two sections, and thus the identical screen image was displayed in each section, the control panel assembly was
replaced with a new one for solution.

Field Remedy
1. Turn the main power switch OFF/ON.
2. If the symptom still occurs, re-fit the connectors at J1015A and J1015B on the main controller PCB.
3. Re-fit the connectors at J2117A, J2117B, and J1112 on the control panel CPU PCB.
4. If the symptom still occurs, replace the control panel CPU PCB with a new one.
5. If the symptom still occurs, replace the LCD panel with a new one.
Note: The control panel assembly can be replaced as the convenient way alternative to Step 4 and 5 above.

Description
Since the message "Switch OFF the Power then ON" was displayed when installing system software after replacement of the HDD, the main power switch
was turned OFF and then ON; however, the LCD froze up when the progress bar ran up to about two-thirds the way.
Cause
After replacement of the HDD, system software was installed without formatting the HDD.
Field Remedy
When installing system software after replacement of the HDD, be sure to format the HDD using SST before installation.

Description
Since the 2-Cassette Pedestal-Y3 was not recognized, J213 connector of the Main Cont. PS. PCB (FG3-3843) was disconnected and then connected again
for solution. In this inspection case, neither of the cassettes was not displayed on the LCD of this machine.
Field Remedy
1. Re-fit J213 connector on the Main Cont. PS PCB.
2. If the symptom still occurs, re-fit J229 connector of the DC controller PCB.
