Dealer Sales/Service Authorization Requirements
A. Technician/System Engineer Requirements
To become authorized and maintain authorization to service a Color
imageRUNNER device, each Authorized Reseller’s location must have at least
one employee who has successfully completed the appropriate Color
imageRUNNER device Training Program and received certified status.
For a Canon copier dealership, a System Engineer

(SE) working with Canon
connectivity products should have the following basic job functions:

Systems integration (pre-sale and post-sale)
•
Installation
•
Education of customers and dealership personnel
•
Troubleshooting
In order to successfully perform these tasks, it is crucial that the SE have
strong computer skills and working knowledge in the following areas (listed in
order of importance):

Computer software (including drivers)
