Cleaning the Feeder
Clean the feeder when smudges appear on printed pages.

Press [ ].

Press [

] to highlight <Adjustment/Maintenance>, and then press
[OK].

Press [

] to highlight <Clean Feeder>, and then press [OK].

Load Letter size plain paper in the feeder, and then press [OK].

The cleaning process begins. Cleaning takes approximately one minute.

When the cleaning is complete, press [ ] to close the screen.
Cleaning the Fixing Unit
Clean the fixing unit when black streaks appear on printed pages.

Press [ ].

] to highlight <Adjustment/Maintenance>, and then press
[OK].

Press [

▼
] to highlight <Clean Fixing Unit>, and then press [OK].

Load Letter size plain paper drawer or manual feed slot, and then press
[OK].

The cleaning process begins. Cleaning takes approximately one minute.

When the cleaning is complete, press [ ] to close the screen.
Cleaning the Transfer Belt
Clean the transfer belt when print quality deteriorates.
