Connect Power Cord and Select Language and Country

Connect the power cord into the rear socket and
the wall outlet (230V) to turn on the machine.

If the message <DISPLAY LANGUAGE>
appears, use [
] or [
] to select the language
for the LCD, then press [OK].

If the message <COUNTRY SELECT> appears,
use [
] or [
] to select the country, then press
[OK].

The machine enters the standby mode.

• This machine has no power switch.

After installing the drum cartridge, toner cartridges and loading paper, the standby display appears.

NOTE
– During electrical storms, disconnect the power cord
from the power outlet. (Please note that received
documents stored in the machine’s memory may be
lost when you unplug the machine.)
– Whenever you unplug the machine, wait at least five
seconds before you plug it in again.
– Do not plug the machine into an uninterruptible power
supply (UPS).
