Dividing Scene s
You can divide scenes (original scenes only) in order to leave out the
best parts and later cut out the rest.
1 Open the original movies index screen.
/ You can s elect the original movie s in the built-in memory
or on the memory card ( 47).
2 S elect ( , ) the scene you want to divide.
3 Press , select [ Divide] and press .
• The s cene s elected will s tart playing bac k . Pau s e the playbac k at the
point where you want to divide the s cene.
• You can u s e the following icon s to bring the s cene to a preci s e point.
/ : S earch (fa s t playbac k ) bac k ward/forward.
/ : Sk ip to the beginning/end of the current s cene.
: Pau s e playbac k .
: Re s ume playbac k .
/ : Frame bac k ward/forward (during playbac k pau s e).
• Pre ss or to s top the playbac k and cancel the divi s ion of the
s cene.
4 S elect ( ) the icon and press to divide the scene.
5 S elect ( ) [Yes] and press .
The video from the divi s ion point to the end of the s cene will appear a s
a new s cene in the index s creen.
NOTES
• When advancing/rever s ing frame s while dividing the s cene s , the interval
will be 0.5 s econd.
• If the s cene cannot be divided at the point where you pau s ed the play-
bac k , advance/rever s e a frame and then divide the s cene.
• During the playbac k of a s cene that wa s divided, you may notice s ome
anomalie s in the picture/ s ound at the point where the s cene wa s cut.
• The following s cene s cannot be divided:
- S cene s included in the s cene pre- s election (mar k ed with a
chec k mar k ). Remove the s election mar k in advance.
