SURFACE CEILING MOUNT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
SURFACE END MOUNT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
A)
Attach crossbar to junction box using screws if needed. Screws are not provided.
B)
Use screwdriver open front cover to connect battery connector (Figure 1).
C)
Feed AC supply wires through canopy center hole.
D)
Assemble canopy onto main body assembly with (2) PM4*35 screws(supplied) and make proper wire connections.(See ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS)
E)
Use (2) PM4-20 screws (supplied) tighten canopy to crossbar (Figure 2).
F)
Insert EXIT panel into main body assembly gently. If EXIT panel is for single face make sure EXIT letter direction is correct (Figure 3).
G)
Determine direction for chevron placement (See DETERMINE DIRECTION).
H)
The unit can be installed on any surface and you may rotate the EXIT panel in any angle from 0º to 180º for ceiling mounting and 90° for wall mounting.

Remove the hole plug from mounting end cap.
D)
Pull out all AC supply wires and feed wires through the center holes of mounting end cap and then canopy (Figure 3).

Reference D-G steps in surface ceiling mount instructions above for completing installation.
F)
The unit can be installed on any surface and you may rotate the EXIT panel from 0° to 180° (Figure 4).
