Sample Changer
Loading Sample Carriers
The sample changer will only work if it has at least five sample carriers in the system.
The first and last carriers must be SAFETY plates as shown in Figure 5.

To load the sample carriers:
1.
Remove the system dust cover by removing the two screws that hold the cover
down.
2.
Place a SAFETY plate on the sample slide and then slide the SAFETY plate
towards the left sample stack.
3.
Place an END plate on the sample slide and then slide the SAFETY plate
towards the left sample stack.
4.
Place a BLANK plate on the sample slide and then slide the BLANK plate
towards the right sample stack.
5.
Place a BLANK plate on the sample slide.
6.
Replace the system dust cover and then the hold down screws.
7.
Place the User Carriers in the right sample stack.
