MESSAGE
DESCRIPTION
INVALID KEY
Indicates that you have used the wrong ignition key, use the prop-
er key for this vehicle.
It is also possible that the ignition key has a bad contact, remove
and clean key.
BRAKE
Is displayed when parking brake is applied for more than 15 sec-
onds.
LO BATT
Low battery voltage, check battery voltage and charging system.
HI BATT
High battery voltage, check battery voltage and charging system.
LOW OIL
(1)
Engine low oil pressure, stop engine immediately and check oil
level.
LOW FUEL
LOW FUEL indicator lamp also turns on. Refer to

HI TEMP

Engine is overheating, refer to

LIMP HOME
Serious fault on the engine that can change the normal operation
of the engine, CHECK ENGINE indicator lamp will also blink, refer

TROUBLESHOOTING
for more details.
CHECK ENGINE
Engine fault, CHECK ENGINE indicator lamp will also be ON, see
an authorized Can-Am dealer.
MAINTENANCE

NO ECM
COMMUNICATION
Communication error between gauge and engine control module
(ECM), contact an authorized Can-Am dealer.
NOTICE

If the light does not cut out right after engine starting, stop
engine. Check engine oil level. Refill if necessary. If the oil level is good, see
an authorized Can-Am dealer. Do not use the vehicle until repaired.

If the light does not turn off right after engine starting, stop en-
gine. See an authorized Can-Am dealer. Do not use the vehicle until repaired.

Message must be erased by an authorized Can-Am dealer.
