Class A refers to ISO 60751:2008 class A standards and the corresponding ASTM E1137 Class A
standards.

Kelvin is the SI unit (International System of Units) for temperature, and used for uncertainty
measurements, whereas the range of the product is in Celsius and therefore both are used in
these specifications. The WMO guide to Instruments and Observations, Guide no. 8, also uses
both Kelvin and Celsius in their recommendation. Regarding resolution of the unit, 1 Kelvin = 1
°Celsius.
