• The crankset is the part of the drivetrain of
the bicycle which transmits the force applied
to the pedals to the chain (the parts of the
crankset are shown in Fig. 2).
The type of crankset is Ultra-Torque
™
, with
the semiaxles connected via a Hirth coupling,
which is compatible with the most common
bottom bracket shells, for which Campagnolo
has implemented specific bottom bracket
cups.
Do not put washers between the pedal axle
and hand crank as they would give rise to ab-
normal tensions in the interface area. Such
tensions could lead to premature breaks and
be the cause of accidents, physical injuries
or even death.
