CLEANING AND CARE

CAUTION: All cleaning and maintenance should be carried out when the barbecue is cool and with the fuel 

supply turned OFF at the gas cylinder.  

CLEANING

“Burning off” the barbecue after every use (for approx 15 minutes) will keep excessive food residue to a 

minimum.

OUTSIDE SURFACE

Use mild detergent or baking soda and hot water solution. Non-abrasive scouring powder can be used on 

stubborn stains, then rinse with water.

INTERIOR OF BARBECUE BOTTOM

Remove residue using brush, scraper and/or cleaning pad then wash with a soapy water solution.  Rinse with 

water and allow to dry.

COOKING GRID

se a mild soapy water solution. Non-abrasive scouring power can be used on stubborn stains then rinse with 

water.

CLEANING THE BURNER ASSEMBLY

Turn the gas OFF at the control knob and disconnect the cylinder.

Remove cooling grate.

Clean the burner with a soft brush or blow clean with compressed air and wipe with a cloth.

Clean any clogged ports with a pipe cleaner or stiff wire (such as an opened paper clip).

Inspect burner for any damage (cracks or holes).  If damage is found, replace with a new burner.  Reinstall 

the burner, check to ensure that the Gas valve orifices are correctly positioned and secured inside the burner 

inlet (venturi).

SERVICING

Your gas barbecue should be serviced annually by a competent registered person

PULIZIA E CURA

ATTENZIONE: 

Tutte le operazioni di pulizia e manutenzione devono essere eseguite a barbecue 

freddo ed alimentazione del combustibile dalla bombola del gas interrotta. 

PULIZIA

Dopo ogni utilizzo lasciar acceso il barbecue per circa 15 minuti, in quanto così facendo i residui di cibo 

vengono ridotti al minimo.

SUPERFICIE ESTERNA

Usare una soluzione di detergente delicato o bicarbonato di sodio ed acqua calda. Per lo sporco più ostinato 

usare un detergente in polvere non abrasivo e quindi sciacquare con acqua.

INTERNO DELLA BASE DEL BARBECUE

Rimuovere i residui con spazzola, raschietto e/o spugnetta e quindi lavare con soluzione di acqua e sapone. 

Sciacquare con acqua e lasciar asciugare.

GRIGLIA DI COTTURA

Usare una soluzione saponata delicata. Per lo sporco ostinato è possibile usare detersivo in polvere non 

abrasivo, sciacquando quindi con acqua.

PULIZIA DEL GRUPPO BRUCIATORE

Chiudere il gas portando la manopola di comando sulla posizione OFF e scollegare la bombola.

Rimuovere la griglia di cottura.

Pulire il bruciatore con una spazzola morbida o soffiando con aria compressa e quindi passarlo con un 

panno.

Pulire le eventuali porte ostruite con un nettatubi o del filo metallico rigido (ad es. una normale graffetta 

aperta).

Verificare che il bruciatore non presenti danni (crepe o fori). Se si accertano danni al bruciatore, sostituirlo 

con uno nuovo. Reinstallare il bruciatore, verificare che gli orifizi della valvola del gas siano correttamente 

posizionati e fissati nell’entrata bruciatore (Venturi)

REVISIONE

Il barbecue a gas deve essere revisionato annualmente da un tecnico autorizzato.
