Starting

EMERGENCY Switch

Switch SB1 (fig. 1 and 2) is provided with mechanical lock.
Release by pulling the red push-button outwards.

You can now start the machine and use all the commands and devices provided.

C 520 R

Use push-button      (par. 6-2) or      

I

(par. 6-2) to start the machine with low or high

feed rate. The machine is supplied with feed rates  6  and 10 m/min, but feed rates 15

and 22 m/min can be obtained by shifting the belt (open the left hand upper cover

plate C6 ( fig. 1) .
Use push-button      (par. 6-2) to stop the machine. Withdraw the grinding stones

before  stopping.

C 520 L

Use push-button      (par. 6-2) to start the machine.  The feed rate is infinitely variable

by means of regulator RP1.
Use push-button      (par. 6-2) to stop the machine. The grinding stones do not need to

be withdrawn. They stop before the knife, thus any notch is prevented.
