4) If your applicator has the gas engine
driven pump, open the top cap of the
pump, and fill the pump with water.
Before starting the engine make sure
both the drain plug and prime plug are
tightened securely to properly hold the
sealing O-rings in place.
5) If your applicator has the gas engine
driven pump, start the engine, and
increase the RPM’s, and check that
water is recirculating back to the tank.
Your pump should now be primed.

If your applicator has the high flow
electric Ecomax® pump, power it on
and close the 3-way valve on top of your
pump for approximately 20 secs to build
pressure. Then slowly re-open the valve
and the pump should prime. If it does
not prime, check that your tank is at
least 1/4 full and repeat this step.
7) Once the pump is primed, make sure
your 3-way valve is in the correct oper-
ating position.
a. GPS flow controlled - open position
(picture shown in recirculation position).
b. Non-GPS - closed position.
