Trouble Shooting 

 

Problem 

What Should I do? 

No power 

Press Power button to turn on the speaker 

Ensure the Speaker is fully charged or you have the speaker to power source 

No sound or only 
distorted sound 

Check the Bluetooth connected device supports A2DP 

Press Vol-/+ button to adjust volume 

Check whether the sound output is muted. Press Power button to resume 
sound out 

Check whether wireless connection has been set up between the paired 
device and Speaker 

Cannot answer calls 

Check whether wireless connection has been set up between the paired 
device and Speaker 

Check whether the paired mobile phone supports Bluetooth profile HFP 

I cannot control the   
music from my   
Speaker 

Ensue your Bluetooth device supports AVRCP 

Press Bluetooth button to resume music 

Music does not   
resume after hanging 
up a call 

Ensure you have paired the speaker correctly with your Bluetooth device 
(Paring the OontZ XL with a Bluetooth Device (First time connection) 

Resume music play on the Bluetooth connected device 

I cannot find   
OontZ XL on the   
Bluetooth device 

Make sure you have enabled the Bluetooth function on the device paired with 
OontZ XL 

Check whether OontZ XL is connected wirelessly with another paired device.   
OontZ XL only supports one Bluetooth connection at a time 

I cannot charge my   
mobile devices   
through the USB   
socket 

Check whether you have connected a USB cable to both OontZ XL and your 
mobile device securely 

Built-in battery of OontZ XL may be drained 
Connect the speaker to AC mains
