INSTRUCTIONS
ASSEMBLY & SETTING UP
Remove the strap around the Tripod Legs and open the legs to their end-stop position. The
Spider is factory set to the right Leg-angle to get the best stability situation. When the spider is
horizontal the Legs touch their end-stops in the Tripods Base (3).
The length of each leg can be adjusted independently of the other two legs. Unlock the Leg
extension knobs (8) and adjust the height of the Tripod extending all three legs. Level the Bowl
Platform roughly using the Spirit level.
The fine levelling is an extra option and can be done also after mounting a video boom or
camera head. Use the fine levelling knobs (4) to do the final adjustment.
Adjust the Retractable Spike Feet (10) to the right surface to get the most stable base for your
set-up.
Assembly & Setting up for the use of a Video Boom there is no need for a Bowl on the Tripod.
The Bowl is then used on the Video Boom Bowl arm (see Video Boom Instructions).
MOUNTING THE CAMERA HEAD
Be sure that the locking knobs (8) are tight. Take the 100mm bowl and screw its stud into the
base of your Head. Tighten the three screws up against the base of the head, with a small
screwdriver, taking care not to force them. To remove the Head reverse these instructions.
Mount the half ball on the Tripod and lock it with the Bowl locking knob, levelling the base. Fine
levelling is possible using the level adjustment knobs (4).

the TVBA-150/100 and TVBA-100/75 Adapter plates.
The 75mm and the 100mm bowl are available as TVBM-520BALL 75mm bowl, TVBM-500BALL
100mm bowl.
