5.2.
Safety instructions for assembly and installation of the product
• Wear safety gloves and safety shoes when assembling the fork-mounted crane jib.
• The assembly and installation must be carried out by an expert.
• Make sure that the goods and packaging are in good condition.
• Before commissioning, carry out a risk analysis on the assembly of the CAM attachment with
the forklift.
• Before installing the equipment, a thorough visual check must be carried out in order to
make sure that no damage has occured during the transportation and handling stage.
• In the event that one or more components are found to be damaged, it is necessary to
notify CAM attachments and agree on the measures to be taken.
• Do not use any other hook other than the one provided. This can cause difficulties during
the inspection and can be dangerous for your own safety.
• Before using the crane jib, carefully read the instructions in the manual of your lifting device.
5.3.
Assembly of the product
1. Place the crane jib on a flat surface.
2. Attach the swivel hook onto the bow
shackle.
3. Choose the appropriate hoist hole (1–6) and
attach the bow shackle in combination with
the swivel hook onto the crane jib.
