Range Hood Operations
Control Panel, Display and Functions:
General Note:
For the best results, turn ON the vent prior to any cooking and keep vent
running while cooking. Adjust the vent power as needed.
Power button
: Press the
Power
button to turn ON the hood.
The
Digital Display
will show the blower (motor) speed level. Pressing the
Decrease
button
will decrease the speed of the blower (motor) from F3 (strongest) to F1 (quietest). Pressing
the
Increase
button will increase the speed of the blower (motor) from F1
(quietest) to F3 (strongest).
To turn OFF the blower rapidly press the
Power
button twice to immediately turn OFF the
blower.
Note:
Do this when blower is in normal operational mode (
Power off delay
timer is
inactivated).
Adjusting the Power-Off delay
: While the blower (motor) is running, press the Power
button once to enter
Power-Off delay timer
mode, the
Power
button
will flash, and the
blower (motor) will turn OFF after three (3) minutes. During the 3-minute delay, changing
speeds will not affect the countdown. You can cancel the 3-minute Power-Off delay timer
function by pressing Power button once.
Lights:
Press the
Light
button once to turn ON the lights and once again to turn OFF the
lights.
Adjusting the clock
: When the blower (motor) is OFF, press and hold the
Power
button to
enter the clock setting. When the clock display starts to flash, press Increase & Decrease
buttons to adjust the hour and then press the Power button again to adjust the minutes.
Press the Increase & Decrease buttons to adjust the minutes. The system will automatically
exit the clock-setting mode after three (3) seconds.
Note:
The system saves the user's settings upon powering off and will restart in the same
configuration.
