4. Activity
This section indicates which of the applications (e.g. SyncE Wander, Wander Generation, ESMC
generation) under the
Run Apps
key are currently active. The colour provides an indication of the
status, with green = active, white = inactive.
P1
indicates Port1 and
P2
indicates Port2.
5. Measurements
This area provides the global Start/Stop control for all Wander measurements. Select
Start All
to
start both Port1 and Port2 Measurements. Select
Stop All
to stop all active Measurements.
6. Analysis
This section enbles the Calnex Analysis Tool (CAT). Select
CAT
to open up a separate tab in your
browser. The CAT provides graphical Timing Analysis measurements and results as well as
Pass/Fail performance against selected metrics and masks, for example to ITU-T standards.
7. Script Recorder
The Script Recorder records all key presses and stores them as a script enabling you to cut and
paste the recorded script into your own programming environment enabling easy automation.
Scripts are recorded in tcl, Perl and Python.
8. Quick Help
Quick help content loads dynamically as you navigate through the various fields in the application.
Provides hints and help on setting up selected applications and fields including information on the
units, resolution and ranges of specific fields.
