Caution: Remove any packaging before use. Store packaging out of reach of children and use it to
protect the heater during standstill. Check the heater, the power cord, and the power plug for damages.
Do not use the heater if there are any visible signs of damage.
1.
Position the heater on a firm and absolutely level underground observing the spacing shown in fig. 1 on
the left fold-out-page.
2.
Plug the appliance to a suitable 220-240 V~ 50-60 Hz socket.
3.
Turn the temperature dial clockwise until it stops.
4.
Switch on the heater by turning the main switch to one of the power levels I (1000 W) or II (2000 W).
The indicator is lit as long as the heater is operating.
5.
If the room temperature reaches the desired value turn the temperature dial anti-clockwise until the
heater and the indicator turn off with a click. If the temperature falls below this value the heater switches
on again automatically.
6.
Turn the temperature dial clockwise until it stops and the main switch to to use the heater as fan on
warm days.
7.
Turn the main switch to 0 to switch off the heater.
8.
Always unplug the appliance when not in use.

Maintenance and care
Caution: Before performing any maintenance and care always unplug the heater and let it cool down.
Cleaning
Wipe the heater with a soft, damp cloth only. Never use scouring powders or chemical cleaning agents.
Never allow the electrical components to become damp.

Trouble shooting

The heater does not heat.
The power supply is off.
Check the fuse. Do not connect the
heater and other appliances to the
same circuit.
Main switch set to 0 or .
Set the main switch to one of the
power levels.
The ambient temperature is
above the temperature set at the
temperature dial.
Wait until the ambient temperature
falls below the set value.
Increase target temperature at the
temperature dial until the heater
and the indicator switch on.
The overheat protection shut
down the heater.
Unplug the heater and let it cool
down for at least 10 min.
Make sure that neither the air
intake nor the air outlet is blocked.
Strange noise
The heater does not stand
upright.
Position the heater upright on an
even surface.
