cord should be secured behind the unit and not left exposed or dangling to
prevent accidental injury.
The unit is supplied with a low voltage lead fitted with a standard car
cigarette lighter plug, if the lead becomes damaged; replace it immediately.

Operation

There are two switches on the rear of the Mini Fridge.  One controls power to
the unit and the other is used to set the unit to Hot or Cold mode.

When using the unit on mains power, set the power switch to AC.  When
using the unit powered from a car cigarette lighter socket (12V) set the
power switch to DC.

For use as a fridge, set the operating mode to “Cold”.  The Mini Fridge has a
set point thermostat that is fixed at approximately 5ºC.  For the most efficient
operation, items placed into the unit should be pre-chilled and the door
should not be opened for longer than necessary.

For use as a warmer, set the operating mode to “Hot”.  The unit has a set
point thermostat that is fixed at approximately 65ºC.  The unit is not
designed to heat food from cold, only to keep food which is already hot
warm.  Do not use the unit to heat up food; it will take too long giving rise to
the possibility of food poisoning.  Food should not be kept warm in this unit
for longer than 2 hours.

Use while Travelling

The Mini Fridge can be used in a vehicle by connecting to a 12V car
cigarette lighter socket using the lead supplied.  During use, the unit must be
kept upright at all times.

Please note that due to moderate power requirements, the unit should not be
left operating on a vehicle battery for more than a few hours unless the
engine is running, or you may have difficulty starting your engine.

The unit should not be operated in an enclosed boot space as heat build up
will cause the unit to malfunction.  Also, you should ensure that the vents are
not obstructed if the unit is packed against other items of luggage.
