5 Installing the TTU

 

The installation of the TTU and its antennas can have a major impact on the TTU

’s performance. It is 

recommended that installers be familiar with the installation of GPS and cellular devices and are comfortable in 

a vehicle environment. 

 

5.1 Preparing for Installation 

Be sure you have received all the TTU components you need. This must include: 

 

The TTU to be installed 

 

A power harness 

 

GPS Antenna (for external devices) 

 

Cellular Antenna (for external devices)
