Here’s a quick guide to activating and using
your new SC1302 device.
Once you activate your device, we’ll send you
an email with a link to view your device’s
information such as location and sensor
readings. Please keep this link as the data will
be updated on a regular basis.
How to activate your device:
Press on power button for 2-seconds then release.
Note:
A red LED light will continue to flash at 15-second intervals while the device is turned on.
Where to put your device:
To achieve the best transmission possible, your device must be placed inside a shipping
container or trailer.
Recommended device placement:
To optimize performance of your device, here’s our recommendation for:
•
Shipping containers: place at the front of the container with the antenna facing up.
•
Trailer: place at the rear of the trailer with the antenna facing towards the loading doors.
•
Fiberglass roof: place on top of roof with antenna facing up.
•
Wood floor: place on the floor with antenna facing down.
A few important things to note:
The antenna is located the top of your device (the button side should face up).
You should NOT place your device on top of the wheel well or axels!
