4.1 Settings
It is worthwhile to make some situational settings on the unit to get good results quickly. These
settings can be made before or during the measurement.
The following pages describe in detail the settings that you can access via the buttons on the
right-hand side of the screen (see Figure 9).
Setup optimisation: Even with usually small dynamic ranges used for visualisation, reflections
of sound waves can become visible as a sound source in the acoustic image. See Figure 10. If
the reflections are not the subject of the measurement, take care to dampen reflecting
surfaces in the field of view.
