INSTALLATION
1. UNPACKING and HANDLING
Each unit is shipped assembled and factory tested. Ensure that all accessories are removed
from the container before discarding packing material
2. MECHANICAL INSPECTION
Inspect the front and rear of the equipment for shipping damage. Make sure the equipment is
clean, and no connectors are broken, damaged, or loose. If equipment appears to be damaged
or defective please contact your distributor or Cabletronix at 1-610-429-1511 for assistance.

4. HARDWARE CONNECTIONS
a. Connect the signal source’s component video (Y, Pb, Pr) output to the distribution
amplifier’s component video (Y, Pb, Pr) input. Or, connect the signal source’s
composite video output to the distribution amplifier’s composite video input.
b. Connect the signal source’s audio L/R output to the distribution amplifier’s audio L/R
input.
c. Connect your TV or monitor’s component video (Y, Pb, Pr) input to the distribution
amplifier’s component video (Y, Pb, Pr) OUTPUT 1, OUTPUT 2, OUTPUT 3, or
OUTPUT 4. Or, connect your TV or monitor’s composite video input to the distribution
amplifier’s composite video OUTPUT 1, OUTPUT 2, OUTPUT 3 or OUTPUT 4.
d. Insert the power supply connector into the DA-41HP’s power jack. Plug the wall
transformer into an AC outlet. The power LED should be on and the unit ready to use.
e. Connect your TV or monitor’s audio L/R input to the distribution amplifier’s audio L/R
output.

Equalization Controls below components video (Y, Pb, Pr) output and composite video
output are set at standard level 0dB. Users can adjust the controls simply by slightly
turning to the left or right to achieve the most pleasing picture.
