MMAC LOCAL MANAGEMENT
A general working knowledge of basic network operations and an
understanding of management applications are helpful prior to using
Cabletron Systems Local Management.
The following sections cover Local Management for IP and IPX routing.
Refer to the
MicroMMAC Local Management User’s Guide for additional
Local Management information.
To access the screens discussed in this addendum, navigate through the
MicroMMAC menu screens to the Router Setup screen and press
RETURN.
3.1 LOCAL MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION
The following summarizes the organization of this section:
IP Router Setup Screen describes how to configure the MicroMMAC
for IP routing functions.
IPX Router Setup Screen describes how to configure the MicroMMAC
for IPX routing functions.
Figure 3-1 shows the relationships of the Local Management routing
screens.
