Getting Started With MediaStar
514 Wired Remote Control
The MediaStar 514 Wired Remote Control can be used with all MediaStar
systems where a wired push button controller is required, rather than the
standard infra-red remote control and IR receiver. This unit connects to either
the MediaStar Evolution 760 and 760/xM units, MediaStar Pro 507 Micro
Settops, or MediaStar Compact 751 receivers (all referred to as ‘endpoints’ in
this document).

This unit has to be PROGRAMMED to operate correctly with each
type of MediaStar endpoint equipment. Programming instructions are
shown below. If this unit is plugged in but key presses do not get any
response from the system, it is likely the Wired remote Control has
been programmed to work with the wrong type of mediastar endpoint
equipment.
