Connecting the Cables

Install the USB driver as shown in the preceding pages.

Connect your PC to the USB jack of the modem.

Connect the LINE jack to your ADSL line, or, if you will use a phone at this location:

•

Plug the Y-adapter into your RJ11 wall jack.

•

Plug the phone jack of the cable connected to your phone into the RJ11 jack of a microfilter.

•

Plug the microfilter into one side of the Y-adapter.

•

Plug another phone cable into the other jack of the Y-adapter and the LINE jack of the modem.

DO NOT CONNECT THE USB CABLE TO THE UNIT UNTIL THE
DRIVER INSTALLATION IS COMPLETE.
