El sonómetro es un instrumento utilizado para medir el nivel de sonido ambiente como el
nivel de sonido en los alrededores de factorías, talleres, escuelas, edificios residenciales,
oficinas, carreteras, etc. Es apropiado también para Ingeniería del control del ruido, control
de calidad de productos, tratamiento y prevención de la salud, etc.
Este sonómetro cumple con la calificación IEC651 Tipo 2 y ANSI S1.4 Tipo 2. Posee un
alcance de medición de 30 a 130 dB.
INFORMACIÓN DE SEGURIDAD
Por favor, lea cuidadosamente el manual de instrucciones antes de la utilización de este
sonómetro.
PREPARACIÓN
•
Por favor, después de recibir el sonómetro, compruebe si se ha dañado durante el
transporte.
•
Si debe ser almacenado y transportado en condiciones duras, por favor compruebe si el
equipo se ha dañado.
USO
•
No utilice el sonómetro en ambientes cálidos o húmedos.
•
La escala automática (30-130 dB) no es adecuada para la medición de ruidos de impacto
transitorios.
•
Al realizar mediciones al aire libre, debe instalar la bola de protección antiviento en el
micrófono para evitar el soplido directo del viento sobre él y la generación de ruido debido
a la corriente de aire.
•
Si descubre alguna anormalidad o fallo, debería dejar de utilizarlo.
MANTENIMIENTO
•
No utilice alcohol u otros disolventes para limpiar el equipo.
•
Si no se va a usar el sonómetro durante un periodo prolongado, retire las pilas y guarde el
equipo en un lugar seco y limpio.
SUSTITUCIÓN DE LA PILA
•
Si las pilas están agotadas, el símbolo
aparece en la pantalla LCD, indicando que las
pilas no tienen la suficiente potencia para utilizar el sonómetro y deben ser sustituidas por
unas nuevas.
•
Utilice un destornillador para abrir la tapa de las pilas en la parte trasera del instrumento.
•
Sustituya las pilas agotadas por unas nuevas. Se recomienda utilizar pilas alcalinas.
•
Instale de nuevo la tapa de la pilas y utilice un destornillador para fijarla.

The Sound Level Meter is an instrument used to measure the ambient sound level, such
as sound level around factories, workshops, schools, residential, offices, road, audio etc. It
also can be appropriate for noise engineering, product quality control, health prevention and
treatment, etc.
This sound level meter complies with IEC651 Type 2 and ANSI S1 .4 Type 2. With the
measuring scope from 30 to 130 dB.
SAFETY INFORMATION
Please read the operating manual carefully before using the product.
PREPARATION
•
Please check for damage during transportation after receiving the sound level meter.
•
lf it should be stored and shipped under hard conditions, please confirm that whether the
meter is damaged.
USAGE
•
Do not use the meter in hot, humid environment.
•
Auto gear level (30-130 dB) is not suitable for measuring transient impact noise.
•
When you measure sound level outside, anti-wind ball should be installed on the microphone
head to avoid blowing directly into the microphone and generating airflow noise.
•
If you notice any abnormality or failure, it should stop using.
MAINTENANCE
•
Do not use alcohol or other solvents to clean the meter.
•
If it is not to be used for long time, remove batteries and keep the meter in a dry and clean
environment.
REPLACING BATTERY
•
When the battery is aging,
symbol will appear on the LCD display, indicating that
batteries don’t have enough power to use, and should be replaced with new ones.
•
Use cross screwdriver to open the battery cover on the back of the meter.
•
Replace the old batteries by new ones. It is recommended that you use alkaline batteries.
•
Return the battery cover and use cross screwdriver to tighten screw.
