HDMIPass has OFF and ON selections. OFF means output is internal pattern.
ON means HDMI input pass through to HDMI output.

SPDIF selects the source of SPDIF output, it has INTR (internal audio), ARC,
ExtHDMI (HDMI input audio) and OFF selections.
