Operating Overview
Level:
This controls the amount of volume.
Boost/Cut:
Boosts or cuts the frequency selected by the “Freq” knob. +/- 5dB range Clockwise
boosts. Counter clockwise cuts. Center or “noon” will do nothing. (NOTE: The Freq knob and
Q switch will do absolutely nothing if you have the Boost/Cut knob at noon. The more you
Boost/Cut, the more pronounced the effects of the Freq knob and Q switch will be)
Drive:
Controls the amount of gain.
Freq:
Selects the center frequency to be boosted or cut. 100Hz to 4kHz range.
Q Switch:
Selects how much of the spectrum range on either side of the center frequency is
boosted or cut, e.g. a wide Q will create more of a “hump” in the EQ that is centered at whatever
frequency you select, whereas a narrow Q will create a “spike” in the EQ that is centered at
whatever frequency you select.
