1-2 Airbag system
Introduction to the airbag system
■
The airbag system is a part of the auxiliary restraint system and is used for
supplementary for the seat and the seatbelt. The airbag system can provide additional
protection for the heads and chests of the passengers and the driver in case of a
serious frontal collision, so as to reduce the casualties.
■
Based on the types of collision, the airbag system includes generally front airbag and
side airbag. The front airbag includes the driver airbag and the front passenger airbag,
and the side airbag includes the front seat side airbag and the curtain airbag.

The airbag system is not a substitute for the seatbelt, and it is an integral part of the
entire passive safety system in the car.

The airbag system should be operated together with the seatbelt to maximize the
protection of the airbag system. Therefore, in order to ensure the safety of you and
your family, please pay special attention to “Notes” and “Tips” in the section.

Please always wear the seatbelts during driving process.

Please maintain the correct sitting attitude to maximize the protection of the seatbelt
and the airbag system.

Do not allow a child to sit in the front passenger seat.
●
Do not disassemble the airbag without permission.

The use of the seat covers other than our genuine products may result in
performance reduce of the airbags or accidental injuries. Do not place any item
between the side airbag and the passenger.
●
Do not apply an excessive force on the side of the seat with the side airbag.
