4. SELECTING THE LOCATION OF THE HEAT PUMP
Respect the minimum safety distance stipulated in paragraph 1.
The heat pump must be installed outdoors, and the air circulation gratings must not be obstructed or
placed up against a wall, partition or hedge. Allow a gap of at least 50 cm between the gratings and
the nearest obstacle.
The heat pump must be positioned upright on a horizontal surface capable of supporting its weight.
To allow for the drainage of rain water, and the condensates leaving the machine, the supporting surface
must drain well or be sufficiently absorbent. Water must not be allowed to pool around and under the
device.
