2. general safety information
2.1 intended usage
The DAVE model are supplied with a continuously variable backrest (headrest
adjustable) and an independently adjustable leg rest. Both of these elements can be
adjusted by means of a control panel on the outer face of the left hand armrest while
running on battery power. It is permitted to operate the device while the mains charger
is connected to the mains supply.
This upholstery furniture product should only be installed in a normal living area.
It is not suitable for use in damp or exterior areas!
Any use of the product beyond this intended usage is considered to be improper.
The manufacturer is not liable for any damages arising from inappropriate use of
this type, and the end user bears the risk alone.
2.2 foreseeable misuse
The end user is solely responsible for any damage arising from improper usage and
failure to observe these operating instructions. The manufacturer assumes no liability.
It is forbidden to:
• Jump around on the furniture.
• Sit on the leg rest or other functional
• Stand on the furniture (especially the leg rest).
• Push or pull the furniture by its moving components.
• Make unauthorised modifications or adjustments.
