Using your DAB FM radio
Display backlight timeout
You can adjust the display backlight timeout. Options of permanently On, 10, 20, 30, 45,
60, 90, 120, and 180 seconds are available.
With your radio switched on (not in Standby mode):
1. Press and hold the Menu/Info button to enter the menu options.

Press and release the Prev or Next button to scroll to System Settings. Press and
release the Select button.
3. Press and release the Next button to scroll to Backlight. Press and release the Select
button.
4. Timeout is highlighted. Press and release the Select button. Press and release the Prev
or Next buttons to scroll to the backlight timeout option you would like. Permanently
On, 10, 20, 30, 45, 60, 90,120 or 180 second options are available. Press and release
the Select button.
You can now use the Prev or Next buttons to scroll and the Select button to confirm, as
you did to set the Backlight timeout, to change the settings for the backlight brightness for
the On level and Dim level. There are 3 options available, High, Medium and Low and the
current setting will be highlighted.
Display language
You can change the display language of your radio, there are 4 options available; English,
German, French and Italian. The current setting will be highlighted.
With your radio switched on (not in Standby mode):
1. Press and hold the Menu/Info button to enter the menu options.
2. Press and release the Prev or Next buttons to scroll to System Settings. Press and
release the Select button.

Press and release the Prev or Next button to scroll to Language. Press and release the
Select button.
4. Press and release the Prev or Next buttons to scroll to the language you would like.
Press and release the Select button to confirm.
