CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Charger wiring connections:
Ignition and all accessories in the vehicle (or boat etc) must be switched off before 
connecting the charger. This will ensure your battery will receive the maximum charge 
available shorten the time to fully charge it.
Connect the red (positive) clamp of the charger to the positive terminal (post) of the 
battery. Connect the black (negative) clamp of the battery charge to the negative 
terminal of the battery.

2. Battery Type Selection:
After connecting the charger correctly to the battery, plug the battery charger input 
plug to 240V AC mains power supply. 
The charger will default to charging on the “Lead Acid” type battery charging mode. 
If charging a Calcium or Gel type battery please choose the “Calcium or Gel” charging 
mode by pressing the battery selector switch. The Calcium or Gel indicator will then 
illuminte to show the type of charging mode that has been selected.

3. Selecting the charging amperage output:
Press the current selecting button to regulate the maximum charging current. This 
function will improve the charging efficiency and safety. The battery charger will then 
supply a 2A, 4A, 6A  current to the battery for soft start. Then after 5 econds of time 
the charger will supply its full selected charging amperage.

4. Charger disconnection:
After charging the battery, turn off the 240V AC main power then unplug the charger 
input plug from 240V AC power source. Remove the black (negative) charger lead 
from the battery first, and then remove the red (positive) charger lead.
