N OTE: The belt will need to be lifted over the cooling
fans attached to the top of pump pulleys.
PUMP BELT
Servicing the Pump Belt will re-
quire the back end of the Zero
Turn Mower to be elevated to gain access to the belt
area.
Always set the Parking Brake and
use wheel chocks on the front
caster wheels before working under the Zero Turn
Mower.
Automotive ramps will allow enough clearance to access
the pump belts from the underside of th Zero Turn Mower.
If raising the Zero Turn Mower with a overhead hoist,
raise the Zero Turn Mower and place jackstands under
the Zero Turn Mower. Lower Zero Turn Mower down on
the jackstands and chock the front wheels.
Pump Belt Removal
1. Remove the foot plate to access the Mower Deck Belt.
2. The Mower Deck Belt must be removed from the
Clutch prior to working with the Pump Belt. Refer to
( Mower Deck Belt Removal ) steps 4 and 6.
3. Remove the Clutch Stop.
4. Release the tension on the Idler Pulleys by backing off
the Tensioner Adjusting Nuts on the Tensioner Rod.
5. Remove the Pump Belt from the clutch pulley, idler
pulleys and pump pulleys.
