Once plugged in, the BBTV will power on, and after booting is
finished, the camera will automatically being recording in
motion detection mode.

Night Vision is automatically activated when needed.
Please note: There is no need to power on the DVD player using the
power button on the front of the device. The camera is separate from
the normal DVD player functions.
BBTV Menu System
The BBTV menu system gives you access to all the settings and
options you may need for your specific situation.
1.
Connect the 3.5mm to RCA connection cable to the
connection port on the back of the DVD player.
2.
Connect the other end of the cable in to the RCA connection
on your television.
Be sure that the color of the connection matches the color of the
port, otherwise you will not have a video signal
3.
Change the channel on your television to the input you
connected the BBTV video connection cable to. If you are
unsure of how to do this, refer to your television’s owner’s
manual for specific instructions.

When everything is properly connected, you will see a live
camera view as well as icons along the bottom row.

When video is being recorded, a rotating white and red circle
is displayed in the bottom left of the display.
6.
To access the menu system, press the “Menu/OK” button on
the BBTV remote.
Please note: when video is being recorded, you may see a small delay
when pressing a button on the remote and seeing the corresponding
action on the screen. This is normal operation.
Menu Navigation
To select a menu option, press the “
Menu/OK
” button
To move up and down between selections, press the “
Up
” and
“
Down
” arrow buttons
To Change the value of a currently selected option, press the
“
Left
” or “
Right
” arrow keys
To go back to the previous menu, press the “
Back/Stop
”
button
The following menu options are available:
Search and Play
– allows you to browse through recorded
video based on date or time.
Set Date/Time
– Allows you to set the date and time, as well
as including customer options for Day Light Saving Time.
Set Motion Detect
– Allows adjustment of the motion
sensitivity (scale of 0 – 10, with 10 being most sensitive)

Options for setting the motion detect area are also
available. This allows you to have certain areas ignored
by the motion detection. (ex. fans, curtains, etc.)
Manual Record
– Gives you video settings for manual
recording.
Schedule Record
– Allows you to set up the schedule that
determines how and how often video is recorded. By default,
this is set for motion detection 24 hours per day.

Person icon – motion detection
o
Clock icon – manual recording
o
Megaphone icon – alarm recording (unused on this
device)
o
Red “X” and box icon – no recording
o
Star icon – unused on this device
SD Card Options
– lets you format or safely unmounts the SD
card, displays SD card information, and also has the option for
how video is recorded when the SD card is full.
o
Loop – The oldest video will be deleted to make room
for new videos.
