Zeroing the Point-of-Impact
Adjust the point-of-impact by using the included adjustment/battery cover tool. The
direction of the shift of the point-of-impact is indicated on the elevation and windage
adjustment screws. The tick marks are for reference only and do not correspond with a
specific amount of reticle adjustment.
Power Modes
The sight powers ON with a press of either the left or right control buttons. For greater
versatility to accommodate any light condition, there are four settings that can be used
to adjust the brightness of the reticle each time the Reticle Brightness button is pushed.
These include:
#1 – Automatic adjustment. A light sensor automatically senses the surrounding light
conditions and adjusts the brightness so that it is not overpowering in low light,
yet visible in bright daylight.
#2 – Lowest brightness setting
#3 – Medium brightness setting
#4 – Highest brightness setting
To turn the power off, simply press and hold the Reticle Brightness button for 2
seconds to completely shut off the electrical circuit and save your battery.
If the battery life falls below the limit of 4 hours, the reticle will begin to blink twice
every 5 seconds.
Reticle Selection
The FastFire 4 offers four different reticle patterns. Use the Reticle Selection button to
select the best pattern for your style of shooting. Choices include:
• 3 MOA Red Dot
• 11 MOA Red Dot
• 11 MOA Red Dot with Circle
• 3 MOA Red Dot, Circle & Wings

Integrated Control Electronics
The integrated control circuit adjusts the brightness of the reticle according to
surrounding light levels. The brightness sensor senses the light level in the direction
of the target and modifies the intensity of the reticle accordingly so that it is not
overpowering in low light while remaining highly visible in bright daylight. Be careful
not to obstruct the sensor. Clean if necessary. Covering the sensor with your finger will
affect the electronics only slightly.
Installing Weather Shield
The FastFire 4 is water-proof and will withstand
rain or snow. However, the Weather Shield
protects the sight from moisture and provides a
clearer sight picture during inclement weather.
To install the shield, slide the cover over the top
of sight. Use the provided hex wench to fasten
the two screws at the back of the sight. Do not over-tighten. Once installed the shield will
protect from rain or snow and will stay attached even when mounted on a pistol slide.
NOTE: The sight is also usable even after being accidentally submerged. After
exposure to salty or dirty water, it is advisable to rinse with distilled water and dry the
sight, as with any quality optical equipment. Remove dirt by blowing it off or use a
very soft lens brush. Use lens cleaning tissues on the optical surfaces.
