In the uncertified mode, the electronics offers a possibility of opening using
the fingerprint, in addition to the code or the e-key.
The certified mode can be activated or deactivated in the Administrator
menu (see the section
Detailed description of selected basic functions
).
Accepting of opening by fingerscan as the sole opening key depends on the
particular insurance scheme, as no general verification criteria are available
for the time being and so no certification is possible. Therefore a clarification
should by provided by the insurance company on whether the insurance also
applies to opening by fingerscan only.
Upon deactivating the certified mode, the certification of the entire
safe is automatically discontinued, the validity of the insurance is
therefore no more guaranteed.
Please clarify with your insurance company, whether your insurance of
the safe content applies to this mode. If this is declined by the insurance
company, the electronics must be used in the certified mode.
An exception is the sector of storage of firearms because of
legislative framework conditions and, at the time, missing
certification provisions. Deactivating of the certified mode is strictly
prohibited here!
In order to make this apparent and to exclude an accidental misuse, the
following advice is indicated on the display:
