1.
Prime the outside of the PVC drain tube, and then connect your drain to the fitting
with PVC cement.
2.
It is imperative to create a water trap
in the drain tube. If you do not, you will most
likely hear a gurgling sound as the system runs and water will not drain properly. A
small loop or jog in the drain tubing (as seen below) is often enough.
3.
If the drain is below the CERV and condensate is removed by gravity, the tubing may
simply be run to the drain. If the drain is higher (for instance, a wall drain), you must
use a condensate pump to actively remove the drained condensate.
4.
If you have an overflow water pan underneath the CERV, such as a washing machine
pan, cut a hole in it and attach a fitting and drain tube to the floor drain/condensate
pump.

1.
For further electrical information, see the Appendix at the end of the document.
2.
MAKE SURE THE CIRCUIT IS NOT HOT, i.e. breaker switch is off or fuse is out.
3.
Run electrical supply (240vAC) to the CERV-001-PARTA module. The power input from
your supply panel connects to the 16 gauge Red and Black wires in the junction box on
the module. Ground the power input with the included green ground screw.
4.
Run electrical supply (120vAC) to the CERV-001-PARTB module. The power input from
your supply panel connects to the 16 gauge White and Black wires labeled 120vN and
120vH in the high voltage junction box on the module. Ground the power input with
the included green ground screw.
