Locking the drive
In encryption mode, the MiniStation will be locked in the following situations.
Windows 7/Vista/XP Windows 2000 Mac OS
Secure Lock Manager Easy V V
Encryption mode
is not supported
Shutting down V V
Reboot V V
Unplug this unit V V
Standby V X
Hibernate V X
Logging off - -
Switching user - -
V: Will be locked.
- : Will not be locked.
X: Not supported
* The MiniStation doesn’t lock when you log off or switch users.
Unplug the MiniStation to lock it.
* Don’t use standby or hibernation modes with Windows 2000.
After awaking from hibernation mode, the MiniStation’s icon may no longer be displayed.
If this happens, reboot your computer.
* Encryption mode is not supported with Mac OS.
