Firmware Update
- This page contains settings that up-
date the Ethernet Converter's Firmware.

Updating the Ethernet Converter's fi rmware is a pro-
cedure where a user downloads a newer fi rmware from
the Buffalo Technology Web Site and applies it to the
Ethernet Converter. New fi rmware fi les contain new
software code that adds bug fi xes, additional features,
increased performance, and revised interfaces.

To update the fi rmware, press the
Browse
button and search for the downloaded fi rm-
ware fi le. When complete, press the
Firmware Update
button. The fi rmware update
process takes about 90 seconds. After the fi rmware update is complete any previous
confi guration changes will remain unchanged.
